Just a word of warning when taking out cover check you don’t have any modifications to your car or if you do have car modifications that you have told your insurance provider. If you have an accident and they find their are modifications, however small, they can wriggle out of paying you with this loop hole. When you buy a new car the sales people try very hard to up sell you to a modification and you may have forgotten you have one…so just double check.
