Cute Kittens looking for a home…your home.
Kittens/cats they make really easy pets and children get so much out of having a pet in the home. You just know you want one and if you are feeling greedy for goodness then you can actually have three kittens as there are three poor orphaned fluff balls looking for a new home. Adopt one and you will go straight to heaven. I did a deal with St Peter himself. He’s a big cat lover.
Just in case I haven’t convinced you here is the case for taking one.
Three tiny kittens. They’re all fit and healthy, about 2.5 weeks old now, no teeth yet and need to be bottle fed. As they haven’t any teeth the animal charities cannot take them in. They’re all drinking beautifully by bottle and are nowhere near as much trouble as you’d think! So, if anyone is interested in taking one, two or more, for a week or two or longer (forever would be nice!) then please contact Sharon at info@comarni.com or telephone 952 90 80 61. There’s one white one with pale grey stripy tails and ears, plus one tabby, and one very pretty dark tabby and white mix. Gender not determined yet. Any help gratefully appreciated.
And if that isn’t enough, think of those big dark eyes of Puss in Boots on Shrek 1, 2 and 3. You could have your very own Puss in Boots.
I want to find these cute boys and girls a home so much I’ve trashed my entire website layout for them.
HERE
Repeat after me.
” I want a kitten. I want a kitten. I want a kitten….” and then phone Sharon.
Google street maps
Has anyone else found they are getting a little to carried away with Google street maps? I’ve been looking up all the old houses that I’ve ever lived in, having a trip down memory lane.
I’ve resisted looking up old boyfriends houses and school friends from long ago, but only because I can’t remember their addresses.
If i buy a car in england and drive it over to spain can i still have english insurance?
If you are driving to Spain from England make sure your insurance company has issued you with a green card. In the UK these green cards are sometimes limited to 30 or 45 days only abroad.
If you have a UK car you must insure with an English car insurance company. You are allowed to use a Spanish brance of a UK insurance company but it must be a registered UK insurance company. Likewise a Spanish car must be insured by a Spanish car Insurance company.
Setting up your own school in the UK
The Government have now given the green light for teachers and parents to set up their own schools. They will be funded by taxpayers money and will be subject to Inspections and the Primary school will still be required to take Sats tests, although these schools are able to opt out of the National Curriculum.
Four in five start ups in the UK fail. Schools are just like businesses, people object to this but in reality they are. They still need to keep afloat and the profits are the young people passing their exams. If the schools run out of money by not spending their budgets wisely and the students fail their exams, then these schools will be closed. Just like the start up, they will have failed.
At a time when we need to cut the massive 900 billion National UK debt, is it wise to be spending taxpayers money opening start up schools which could have a strong chance of not making it. Teachers and parents have to prove they have parental demand and that they are qualified to open a school. All of this does not mean that it will be a success. The funding is going to be massive and just where is this going to come from?
There are teachers that have said they have taught for a number of years and have often thought of things they would do if they had their own school. This is great and they should implement their ideas to improve current schools via the managment route.
In my experience ( I was a teacher…) teachers are not business people. Life in the staff room was a little bubble far removed from business. The idea of a group of teachers coming together to start a school I find rather worrying. I think they could spend more time in their staffroom, gossiping about each other and spending the budget on tetley tea rather than books and microscopes…..and it could prove a very costly mistake for the taxpayer.
Just missed England’s first goal
Thanks ITV, we’ve just missed England’s first goal of the world cup due to some sort of human error at ITV. I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry but I’m certainly foaming at the mouth……and I don’t even like football! Can imagine what sort of fuss is going on in the UK right now……GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Is it a stolen car?
I’ve been living in Marbella too long. New neighbours, UK plated cars that are expensive, parked for long periods of time without moving, then overnight they suddenly disappear.
I had convinced myself that they were stolen.
So I have just paid £3.95 to have a check done. It was all my imagination, the car plates are not stolen, the car hasn’t been scrapped, the car hasn’t been reported stolen. All is well.
If you are suspicious of a car, or thinking of buying a UK plated car and want to check it out, you can go here and do just that….

Cotton bunting for children’s bedrooms
I have been thinking about decorating my little girls bedroom and have found a great website that sells cotton bunting in all sorts of patterns and colours which would jazz up her bunk beds etc. They also deliver to Spain.
Late, but it’s not my fault…
Well actually it is.
I have a friend who when you say come over for lunch at 1.00pm, she’ll turn up at 2.30pm. I’ll say let’s meet up at 12pm at the shops and she’ll turn up at 2.00pm saying that her daughter needed a burger on route and then she just had to go down the playslides at McDonalds and poor thing, she just couldn’t get her to leave. Really?
Last night some people of the UK sauntered up to their polling stations close to 10.00pm when they close and my goodness there was a queue and they didn’t get to vote because the 10.00pm deadline was just that, a deadline. They didn’t get to vote but they did get a lesson that if you are always late at some point it is you that are going to suffer and not the people that are having to wait for you.
I’m glad they didn’t get to vote because anyone that can’t make a deadline of 10.00pm and then blames the polling station, doesn’t deserve the right to vote anyway.
Polling stations, what century?
I have just watched the General Election news and seen voting boxes being carred by students in a long line, scores of women gathered around a desk counting paper votes, their thumbs flicking paper vote after paper vote. What century is this?
Why can’t there be at the polling stations touch type computers. so that people vote and it is IMMEDIATELY counted? Better still computers with a mouse. If you can’t use a mouse, then you can’t vote, which will get rid of most of the over 70’s who shouldn’t get a vote anyway. No need for all the media circus, no waiting, polling closes and ping, we know who has won.
Our worldwide banking system is all computerised, surely it’s time our polling stations were heaved into the 21st century and this primitive vote counting was relegated to the history books.
Which is where Gordon Brown will be if the exit poll is to be believed…..
