Marbella Art Festival

Last post now about the Marbella Art Festival. It starts on the 17th and runs until the 20th June. Head to the Parque la Alameda, Avenida del Mar in Marbella and you will find activities going on from day until night, form 12pm- 11.30pm.
Some events that I particularly like the look of are
6pm on the 17th, a jazz rock band and the black box Teatro group performing on the street.
8.30pm on the 18th, a Welsh tenor. I like anything Welsh. Particularly leeks, daffodils and their dark haired men with accents to make any young maiden, old maiden, or no maiden swoon.
9.30pm Flamenco to a Spanish guitar
1.30pm on the 19th June, salsa dancing with audience participation. That will be me on the table with a silly smile and my embarrased children grabbing my ankles telling me to grow up.
8.30pm Swedish rock band. No idea if they are any good but they are Swedish and after the Welsh tenor would make the most delicious week-end dessert.
3.30pm on the 20th June, opera. Not really my thing, but in Marbella trying to find opera is like trying to find a second hand car minus a scratch or bump, difficult.
4.30pm a 15 year old singer from Georgia.
ENJOY…..
