Cheaper ADSL with Telefonica

We have been paying over 64 euros per month for ADSL/landline with Telefonica. I’ve been meaning to call them for ages to see if they can knock something of the bill as there are competitors now that are offering it for much less.
I don’t want to change though as I have found Telefonica to be very reliable, once you have finally get it installed!
Well today we phoned 1004. Asked for someone in English and explained could they do something with the bill. It was after 8.30pm so I was surprised we had any assistance at all. We had to wait to be put through to person number 3. They offered us pretty much straight away everything for 45 euros. We then mentioned the name of a competitor and it was lowered to 41 euros.
So, if you have ADSL with Telefonica/Movistar, give them a call. It isn’t a battle and you’ll save yourself some money…..aren’t I helpful?!
