Linea Direct car insurance in Spain

Many of you will have Linea Direct car insurance here in Spain but if you are from the UK you may not realise that you have car recovery breakdown included in the price of your car insurance policy.
We have just used it today as our car broke down on the way back from Tarifa last week-end. Nice timing….The customer service side of Linea Direct was first class, unlike our car….
We called Linea Direct and they arranged for the tow truck to come to the house. I had a mobile text then letting me know how long they expected the tow truck to take (less than 40 minutes). When it arrived I then had another text saying that it should have arrived and if I needed any further help I should call on the free phone number that they then provided me with.
We only found out that this service was included in our car insurance policy by accident when the car garage said we should call the insurance company as a tow truck would most likely be included in the cover.
It was, all in English, with text communication informing me of times, phone numbers given should I need more help. I have to say I was very impressed.
I think the garage bill will also be quite impressive……..
