Solbank maestro card
I’ve just had to go and order another Solbank Maestro card for the second time in a short space of time. Barclays cards always works but the Solbank maestro cards seem to be built to self detonate after a few swipes. No I don’t keep them near mobile phones and even if I did, all my other cards work fine. No I haven’t spent over my limit. I did ask if I could switch to a mastercard but was told I would need to open a deposit account. I don’t want to do that. I’ve enough accounts already. Most of them need passwords and pin numbers and since I can’t recall even my husband’s name these days, more passwords are not really on my most wanted list. Saw a lovely Guess bag in Puerto Banus though…that is…..I would always know where a blingy leather Guess bag was and best of all, it doesn’t need a password to open it.

please help we opened a bank account with sol bank in spain and was given a sol mastercard we are finding it impossible to withdraw cash from any cash point even london – does anyone know which bank accepts the solbank mastercard. on the reverse of the card is ServiRed which is what we have been told to look for when looking at the cash point – we have asked at several banks but no one seems to know help….
I haven’t been made aware of this problem with Solbank. Have you spoken to a branch in Spain directly and asked them to confirm that UK cashpoint machines will accept their cards. Thank you for letting me know the problems you are experiencing and if anyone else can shed any light for Bryan just leave a comment.
